Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days, starting the day you receive your order. For returns and exchanges we must receive the items within 30 days of their delivery date. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. 

We accept returns and exchanges on rings, necklaces, bracelets, clothing, accessories, and miscellaneous homewares.

For hygiene reasons we are not able to accept returns and exchanges on piercing jewelry (clickers, earrings) and stretched ear wear (tunnels, plugs, weights, hangers).

To complete your return, please include your order number, your reason for returning the item(s), and whether you would like an exchange or refund. For exchanges, the customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the new item(s).

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

If you receive an incorrect or defective item, please contact us at support@mothermedusa.ie so we can make this right. Please include your order ID, with photo/video for our assessment of your product complaints. We will then send you an item replacement at no cost to you if it remains in stock. If it is no longer in stock you will be given the choice of a full refund to your original payment method or given a store credit.

If you are returning an item to us we will send you an email to notify you when we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Try contacting your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@mothermedusa.ie.

Sale items

Only regular priced items will be eligible for refunds and exchanges. Sale items will not qualify.

Exchanges

We only replace items free of charge if they arrive defective or damaged. If the damage appears to be due to mishandling during shipping please send a photo of the state of the packaging with your order number to support@mothermedusa.ie so that we may report it to the courier company. 

If you wish to exchange to a different size/colour/item, you will have 15 days from its delivery date to contact us for exchange approval. We are only able to accept returns and exchanges on rings, necklaces, bracelets, clothing, accessories, and miscellaneous homewares, excluding sale items. The products must be returned to us must be unworn, and in its original condition and packaging. The customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the items back to us as well as having replacement items sent. Exchange items are subject to stock availability. If the item you wished to exchange for is out of stock you will be offered the choice of a full refund (excluding return shipping) to your original payment method or a store credit.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. For exchanges you will be responsible for the shipping costs of the replacement.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item as this the responsibility of your chosen courier company.
